it's a bit of a drive, maybe 30 minutes. On the other hand Taxis in China are still very cheap and the ride only costed me 30 RMB or $5 US! Not bad. Other good stuff, being Hilton Diamond I got upgraded to a suite, quite nice, with free breakfast at the downstairs buffet which is quite extensive and or at the Executuve Lounge. There's also an indoor pool good for swimming laps, but don't forget your swimming cap. It seems to be a rule in all of China. If you don't have one your not swimming. Also the Spa has a sauna, Steam room and Jacuzzi. This is a very spacious and palatial style hotel with a fantastic lobby. The lobby bar is pricey but that seems to be the norm at high end hotels in China. It is extremely convenient to the Beijing Airport. Although you probably cannot actually walk to the hotel it is literally next to Terminal 3 which is the domestic terminal here in PEK. Nonetheless the hotel operates a 24/7 shuttle service every 20-30 minutes to and from T2 and T3 so it's not a problem.
