This is our second visit to the Olympic Lagoon. Last year we went as a family, however this time we traveled as a couple to the hotel. On arrival we found out that we had again been upgraded from superior sea view room to fisherman's village sea view room on the first floor. The room was immaculate and had a fantastic view of the sea. It was great again to be able to reserve the sunbeds around the pool and not having the do the usual early morning rush to get beds. The pool was still too cold to go in, although a few more were venturing into it on our final day. The food in the buffet restaurant was even better than last year with lots of variety and choices. There were hot plates always available and the deserts were to die for. It was also nice that there was an adults only section in the restaurant where you could eat. The food in the pan Asian and Italian restaurants were outstanding. All the staff in the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful but I must give a special mention to Stella, Marianna and Selcin and who kept us well watered throughout the holiday with drinks around the pool. Also a very special mention to Anthoulla and Elena who were always on hand to help with any queries you had, reserve tables in the restaurants, book excursions, or just to pass the time of day with you and have a chat. They are all a real credit to the hotel and are why this hotel is by far the best we have ever stayed in. We could not believe that the hotel was only classed fourth best in Paphos.
