We have stayed in quite a few Radisson Hotels around the world and very rarely do they disappoint. I believe that there are two Radisson's in Vilnius however this one is in the old city. Outside is the old town square with the town hall in the center. There are plenty of excellent and well priced restaurants close by. There are two parts of the hotel, the old original hotel and a new wing next door. The new part also faces onto the city square but the entry is via the old Hotel. We were part of a tour and from all accounts rooms in both areas were first class, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are smorgasbord and plentiful with a touch of the local cuisine and the bar is small and suits the old city flavor and the beer is large and cold. This was our first trip to Eastern Europe and we felt extremely welcome and we were made to feel at home especially at reception. We will go back to Vilnius as a base for a more comprehensive visit to Lithuania.
