Stayed here with our glorious tour and loved the views from the back porch. I would wake up early and at the mountains run straight up from the windows. The sun catches the peaks and I could sit and enjoy forever. The rooms were your basic mountain inn twins. They had no irons to be found. Bring a steamer with a converter. The meals were OK. I wouldn't eat there. There are lots better places in town. One was a pizza place directly to the right as you walk out the hotel and El Mercado at the best western. Great Italian food. The front desk was nice. They had activities each day like hikes, exercise and napkin folding. There was live entertainment each night in the lounge area. This place was huge with different area. Pin pong, pool, you could eat outside for breakfast. Great location. There is a local bus stops right out front. You can walk to the train station from here. I hiked down the mountain from the top of one of the train stops. Then picked up the ground station to Grindelwald back to the hotel.
